Permanent Inception…
From being a mere country liaison office of its German headquarters in 2001 handling a few hospitality projects, Häfele India Pvt. Ltd finally became a wholly owned subsidiary in 2003 with independent commercial operations and  its own warehouse and stocks. This marked the inception of this global giant in India. Häfele had arrived and was here to stay!

‘Blum’-ing Success…
With an impressive growth in business and bottom-lines, Häfele India steadily set its ground in the Indian markets. In the year 2004, the company entered into an invincible partnership with BLUM, the worldwide leader in kitchen solutions by acquiring the exclusive distribution rights of their products in India. For the first time, two of the world’s biggest hardware companies came together to create a ‘killer combination’ in the Indian Hardware Industry.

Designed Interaction…
With increasing sales, the company felt a need to interact with its customers directly; but in an unconventional way. In 2005, Häfele launched two Design Centers at Delhi and Bangalore each and the following year saw the launch of the Mumbai Design Center.
 These Design Centers offer a world class ambience reflecting the latest trends in interiors today. The products are displayed in actual application so that our visitors can touch, feel and experience their functionality. These centers function not only as display centers of our products but also as hubs of ‘consultative selling’- a concept that the company swears by. Our digital designers help individual customers design their kitchens and wardrobes virtually on a highly qualified software; and our hardware experts plan Hardware schedules for large projects advising on the number and kind of hardware components that would be required for each fitting along with the estimated cost of these installations. This helps our customers plan much ahead of time and allows room for budgeting and changes in design.

Armed Ammunition
Like every other organization, Häfele too thrives on its resources. From a team of 3 in 2001, the company now employs over 180 employees who form an integral part of the Häfele Team. It has offices in 7 different locations, including most major metro cities and is likely to open more branch offices through the coming year. Häfele India has a sales presence in 14 different locations across the country and a dealer network of over 200 retail outlets.
                                             

Our drive is to expand our existing franchisee base (13 Häfele Franchise shops all over India) in the coming few years to ensure better accessibility to our customers in a world class retail environment.
