
Employee Engagement At Hafele“Employee engagement” - A partnership between Company and its employees”A positive attitude held by the employee towards the organisation and its values. An engaged employee works with colleagues to improve performance within the job for the benefit of the organisation. The organisation must work to develop and nurture engagement, which requires a two-way relationship between employer and employee. CSR at HafeleHäfele subscribes to magazines on a monthly basis. Häfele does its little bit to add on to the environment’s wellbeing. We use the magazine excess (old & read magazine) by donating it to a Welfare center named Jagruti Palak Sanstha, who then make paper bags out of them and sell them; the proceeds of which are used for the development of the students and are also distributed as monetary incentives among them. This is a welfare center for the Mentally Challenge Kids and Adults. The age group it caters to is from 18-45. This is a Vocational Welfare center where Parents of these Mentally Challenged kids volunteer along with the Special Ed Teacher. They are open from 1 pm to 5 pm Mon-Fri. Major focus is to encourage these kids to be self-sufficient and independent. Every small bit done by a Häfele employee be it by way of just purchasing their goods or personally donating helps would go a long way.
